Conditions Of Hire

1. Provisional reservations can be accepted by telephone and must be confirmed within five days by our receipt of a completed booking form and your remittance of £50 plus cancellation insurance premium of (currently 6% of the cost of your holiday). Provisional reservations will be automatically cancelled if not confirmed within the 5 day period.

2. An invoice for rental balance will be forwarded and is due for payment 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. This invoice will also show a Security Deposit payable of £50 per property per week ( except where otherwise stated ) this being held against charges for any breakage's dilapidation's cleaning and any charges for utilities such as electricity, gas fuel, telephone etc.. not already included in the rent.  Where no liability for charges is incurred this deposit is returnable in full by post soon after your departure. You will be responsible for any damage done to the property or its contents by yourselves your guests and your pets. Overseas visitors are required to pay half the rental in advance together with security deposit.

3. For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival the total amount is payable to include full rental security deposit insurance payment.

4. HOLIDAY CANCELLATION INSURANCE.  A policy has been arranged by us which is automatically provided once the booking has been confirmed.  A charge (see separate sheet) will be charged and is payable in addition to the deposit.  This provides cover for the amount payable in event of cancellation of your booking before or during your holiday accident or illness of any member of the party, near relative or business associate.  The main exclusions are willfully self-inflicted injury or illness, drugs or intoxicating liquor, venereal disease, war risk, physical defects or infirmity existing at or prior to the date of completion of the booking form.  This policy does not apply for overseas visitors.  Where cancellation is personal and outside the cover of the policy, cancellation can only be affected by arranging a suitable sub tenancy with the owners or their agents approval, and the agents will be happy to assist in the matter for a charge of 10% plus V.A.T. of the rental (This is compulsory).

5. The hiring contract shall be between the hirer and the property owner for which the booking is made and shall be deemed to be made subject to those conditions of hire.

6. Any complaints regarding the accommodation should be reported by 5.00 p.m. on the Monday after arrival.

7. Where possible prospective tenants are advised to inspect properties they wish to rent as we cannot be held responsible for any alleged inadequacy of any property later i.e. the agents are responsible to their clients for the collection of rents only as no claims regarding the accommodation will be accepted by the agents.

8. The agents will not accept responsibility for injury to tenants their guests or third parties, or loss of or damage to their belongings, any car or its contents.

GENERAL INFORMATION

(a) Tenants may take possession after 2.30 p.m. on the day of arrival and must vacate by 10.00 a.m. (no later) on the day of departure.  If these times are not adhered to an extra day's rent will be charged.

(b) The accommodation is let for the specified number of tenants only.

(c) All bookings are from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise stated.

(d) Pets, where permitted, are charged £15 per pet, per week, added to deposit when booking.  Please note pets are to be kept under control at all times and never allowed on furniture nor left alone inside the property.

(e) Any shortages or defects should be notified to the agents.  Please leave the accommodation clean on departure and report breakage's or dilapidation's which will be charged for.

(f) Previous notification should be given if any of the party is disabled so that we can ensure that the property is suitable.
